Argon welder — Wicomico County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Wicomico County, Maryland. You should have: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Your main tasks: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
