Urgent requirement: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Madison County, Alabama. You will be based on an offshore oil and gas platform. Requirements: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces The role involves: • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Read lift plans and method statements before starting $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
