Ideal candidate: • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports The role involves: • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place • Buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections 6+ years on the tools preferred.
