GMAW welder — McCormick County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a GMAW welder in McCormick County, South Carolina. You should have: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings On the job you will handle: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $2,700 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
