Great opportunity: we are hiring an auto painter in Iron County, Michigan. You will be based at a busy body shop. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale The role involves compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio. 6+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
