Vertical milling machine operator — Sullivan County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Sullivan County, New Hampshire. You will work in a CNC machining unit. You will set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square. Requirements: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
