Immediate opening: we are hiring a power press operator in Ekeremor, Bayelsa State. You will work at a busy press shop. On the job you will handle: • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
