Ideal candidate: • Able to read single-line and wiring diagrams • Normal colour vision for cable identification • ITI in electrical trade or wireman certificate Your main tasks: • Size and route cabling to suit the load current and voltage drop • Test insulation resistance with a megger • Isolate circuits and apply lockout-tagout before working • Carry out preventive maintenance on switchgear and busbars • Wire single-phase and three-phase distribution boards • Replace faulty switches, sockets and light fittings 5+ years on the tools preferred.
