Hoist operator — Eleme

Great opportunity: we are hiring a hoist operator in Eleme, Rivers State. The job is at a container port and shipping yard. On a typical shift you will set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone. Ideal candidate: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts We offer ₦185,000 per month plus benefits.
