Foundry worker wanted in Kennebec County

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry worker in Kennebec County, Maine. What we are looking for: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding On the job you will handle: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges Full-time with occasional weekends.
