Lifting rigger wanted in East Lothian

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lifting rigger in East Lothian, Scotland. On a typical shift you will direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use. You should have: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Full-time with occasional weekends.
