Requirements: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Confident with manual handling and load securing The role involves: • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels Rotating shifts.
