Lathe programmer-operator • Clay County, Georgia

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Clay County, Georgia. The job is at an auto-components manufacturing unit. Your main tasks: • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes What we are looking for: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $3,500 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
