Sand plant operator wanted in Fallon County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Fallon County, Montana. You should have: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry The role involves: • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
