Now hiring: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Cullman County, Alabama. The job is in a non-ferrous casting shop. Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection The role involves operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. 6+ years on the tools preferred. $230 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
