Gang bricklayer — Graham County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Graham County, North Carolina. You will be based on a commercial construction site. You should have: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage The role involves: • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
