Great opportunity: safety officer (Imo State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety officer in Owerri West, Imo State. The job is at a busy construction site. You will take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around ₦115,000 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
