Foundry worker — Texas County

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry worker in Texas County, Missouri. You will work on the moulding line. Day-to-day duties: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes What we are looking for: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards We offer $3,100 per month plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
