Tig welder — Darlington

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tig welder in Darlington, England. Requirements: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Day to day you will weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
