Argon welder • Polk County, Florida

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Polk County, Florida. You will be based at an automotive body and exhaust shop. You should have: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Your main tasks: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks Performance bonus on top of base pay.
