Bread baker — Jefferson Davis Parish

Join our team: we are hiring a bread baker in Jefferson Davis Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a cake shop. You will check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
