Immediate opening: we are hiring a packaging machine operator in Colusa County, California. You will work at an auto-parts workshop. Your main tasks: • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels You should have: • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • Good attention to detail and steady hands Rotating shifts.
