Gantry crane operator — Clinton County

Join our team: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Clinton County, Indiana. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Able to read load charts and lifting plans On a typical shift you will park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams.
