Foundry worker • Sheridan County, Wyoming

Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry worker in Sheridan County, Wyoming. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Full-time, day shift. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
