Restoration bricklayer — Osceola County

Now hiring: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Osceola County, Florida. Day to day you will bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder. Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
