Immediate opening: we are hiring a chiller technician in Floyd County, Texas. The job is in an HVAC service company. On a typical shift you will check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; clean condenser and evaporator coils. You should have: • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
