Overlocker operator — Platte County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Platte County, Nebraska. You will work at a busy garment factory. You should have: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown The role involves: • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required 6+ years on the tools preferred.
