Ladle pourer — Dickson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Dickson County, Tennessee. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. On the job you will handle: • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings Ideal candidate: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal 5+ years on the tools preferred.
