Immediate opening: punch press operator (Mississippi)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a punch press operator in Franklin County, Mississippi. You will be based in a forging and pressing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses You should have: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts 3+ years on the tools preferred.
