Vacancy available: crane operator (Virginia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane operator in Clarke County, Virginia. You will be based in an open-cast mine. Day-to-day duties: • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines Ideal candidate: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster Pay around $3,200 per month, based on your experience.
