Now hiring: we are hiring an insulation worker in Vance County, North Carolina. The job is on a construction site. On a typical shift you will measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings; prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application; lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations; fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters. What we are looking for: • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles 6+ years on the tools preferred.
