Tig welder — McDonald County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tig welder in McDonald County, Missouri. Your main tasks: • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode What we are looking for: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Own basic hand tools and PPE At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
