Sewing machine operator — Weston County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Weston County, Wyoming. You will be based on an export house sewing floor. On a typical shift you will press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line. You should have: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
