Immediate opening: crane rigger (Kentucky)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane rigger in McCracken County, Kentucky. You will be based at a shipyard. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles The role involves direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area.
