Immediate opening: we are hiring a powder coating operator in Bibb County, Alabama. Day to day you will degrease and clean metal parts before coating; reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse; hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage; check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns; set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow; inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches. Requirements: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
