Vacancy available: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Nicollet County, Minnesota. You will be based in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. You should have: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Strong attention to safety and load limits Your main tasks: • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams 6+ years on the tools preferred. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
