Rigger — Kerr County

Join our team: we are hiring a rigger in Kerr County, Texas. You will work at a shipyard. Requirements: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness On a typical shift you will guide loads through tight openings into their final position; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
