We are recruiting: we are hiring a press operator in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. Requirements: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading Your main tasks: • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor 6+ years on the tools preferred.
