Stitching operator — Windsor County

Now hiring: we are hiring a stitching operator in Windsor County, Vermont. You will work at a knitwear stitching unit. You should have: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance The role involves: • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go Rotating shifts.
