Immediate opening: we are hiring a panel welder in Luna County, New Mexico. The role involves set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration. What we are looking for: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
