Now hiring: groundsman (England)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a groundsman in County Durham, England. You will work on the grounds of a hotel resort. On the job you will handle: • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease You should have: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Happy to work outdoors in all weather Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
