Immediate opening: we are hiring an assembly technician in Pitkin County, Colorado. The job is at a consumer goods manufacturing unit. Ideal candidate: • Careful handling of tools and components • Minimum 10th pass or ITI is an advantage • Comfortable meeting hourly production targets On a typical shift you will apply labels, barcodes and serial stickers in the right position; solder small connectors and check the joints under a magnifier; keep pace with the takt time and pass the unit to the next station; wear an ESD wrist strap when handling circuit boards; report jams or tool faults to the line leader straight away; carry out a visual quality check for scratches, gaps and missing parts. Rotating shifts. Pay around $29 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
