Argon arc welder — Johnson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Johnson County, Wyoming. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Your main tasks: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer You should have: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
