Vacancy available: we are hiring an EHS coordinator in Van Buren County, Iowa. The job is on a high-rise building project. You should have: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions Your main tasks: • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift 2+ years on the tools preferred.
