Cement mason — Chatham County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cement mason in Chatham County, Georgia. The job is on a building construction site. On a typical shift you will screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab. Ideal candidate: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
