Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bread and bun maker in Powhatan County, Virginia. The job is in a bread factory. On a typical shift you will prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials. Requirements: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off.
