Foundry worker wanted in De Soto Parish

Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry worker in De Soto Parish, Louisiana. The job is in a non-ferrous casting shop. Day to day you will apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring. What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around $160 per day, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
