Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Dallam County, Texas. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection On a typical shift you will strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent.
