Shakeout operator — Franklin Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Franklin Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. The role involves make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. You should have: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
