Roofing technician — Lyon County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a roofing technician in Lyon County, Kansas. The job is at a busy roofing firm. You will fit valley gutters, fascias and soffits; carry out leak inspections and patch repairs; bed and point ridge tiles with mortar; install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights; seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing; nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel • Willing to work outdoors in all weather Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
